Why we verify
Every face on the chart is a verified adult, and the person being paid is the person on the listing. That is the whole trust of the site, and it costs you one ID check. Here is exactly what happens, what we keep, and what we never touch.
Two checks, in this order
1. The profile is yours
Your dashboard gives you a short code. You paste it into the bio of the profile you're claiming, we see it there, you delete it. That proves you control the account, and nothing else.
2. You're 18+ and the face is yours
An ID document and a quick live selfie, handled by our verification partner inside your dashboard. A human at fuel.fans then compares that selfie with your listing portrait. Only after both pass does your page go public.
What we never see
- Your ID document. It stays in the partner's vault.
- Your selfie or any face data. Same vault, never our servers.
- Your login for any other site. We never ask, ever.
What we keep
- A pass or fail result and a reference number.
- Your legal name, private, for payouts and tax paperwork.
- Your email, for signing in. Nothing else.
What fans see
Your stage name, your portrait, your bio, your links, and your score. Never your legal name, never your email, never anything from the ID check.
Who runs the check
Sumsub, an identity vendor used by regulated exchanges and fintechs. Their retention and deletion rules are in our Biometric Data Policy, and you consent in writing before any camera opens.
How to tell us from a scam
Takeover scams in this space work by asking you to "verify" through a link someone sends you. Here is the rule that beats all of them: you never send fuel.fans anything, and nobody from fuel.fans ever asks you to.
- The only place to verify is your own dashboard at fuel.fans, after you sign in with the email link you requested. Check the address bar. A verification page reached from a DM link is not ours.
- The code goes in your bio, in a claim you started. Anyone asking you to DM them a code, or to post one for a claim you didn't start, is trying to take your listing.
- We never ask for passwords, logins, or content. Not for OnlyFans, not for X, not for anything. Not in a DM, not by email, not on the site.
- The ID step never leaves the site. It opens inside your dashboard. We do not email you a document upload link and we do not take IDs by DM.
Why bother
Because it is the thing fans are paying for. An unverified chart is a list of stolen photos with a tip jar. A verified one means every fuel reaches the person on the listing, impersonators never get a page, and "every face is a verified adult" is a sentence we can put on the front door. Only you can list yourself, and once you have, nobody can list as you.
Deleting it later
Ask at support@fuel.fans. Your listing comes down on request, and verification data we are not legally required to keep is deleted with it, from our side and from the vendor's.
